Youth & community development

Young people in Port Saint Lucie deserve skills that lead to work.

We are a local nonprofit. We run youth and community programs, and we teach digital skills: photo and video editing, content creation, and AI tools used on the job.

Mission

Help young people and families in Port Saint Lucie learn useful skills, stay connected, and find a path to work. We teach digital skills — photo and video editing, content creation, and AI tools — and we run youth and community programs for our neighbors.

Vision

A Port Saint Lucie where every young person can learn the digital skills used in today's jobs, and use those skills to build a steady future for themselves and this community.

Our work

Youth programs, family support, and a path to work

This is the work we do and the work we are building in Port Saint Lucie. Classes are small. The goal is simple: leave with a skill you can use.

  1. 01

    Youth programs

Safe, useful time for young people in Port Saint Lucie. We focus on skills, school support, and a place to belong.

  2. 02

    Community support

Help for families who need a start: referrals, basic support, and a local group that answers the phone.

  3. 03

    Work-path workshops

Short classes on how to look for work, write a simple resume, and show a portfolio of digital work.

  4. 04

    Digital studio

Hands-on training in photo and video editing, content creation, and everyday AI tools that employers use.

Digital skills

New career paths through tools people use at work

We teach practical digital skills so youth and adults in our community can apply for jobs in media, small business, and office work. No long lectures. You make something real in class.

01

Photo and art editing

Crop, color, retouch, and layout. Learn tools used for flyers, social posts, and product photos.

02

Video editing

Cut clips, add titles, mix sound, and export a clean video for school, work, or a small business.

03

Content creation

Plan a post, write a caption, shoot simple photos or video, and keep a regular content calendar.

04

AI tools for work

Use everyday AI tools the right way: drafts, research, captions, and time-saving steps — with clear rules about honesty and credit.

Future partners

Software and tools we are pursuing

We are applying to nonprofit programs that can put professional tools in our students' hands. None of these partnerships are active yet. Each one is marked In Progress.

Logos are trademarks of their owners. Use here only marks programs we are pursuing. It does not mean those groups endorse us.
